Meet the Bees

Why not find out more about how a hive works and how honey is produced!

We offer unique experiences for up to 4 people at a session. You can don a beesuit, visit a working hive and work with the beekeeper to find the Queen, check the health of the bees, check the honey production and ensure that all is well.

It is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about these fascinating creatures at close quarters. Some satisfied customers have even gone on to keep bees themselves as a result!

Lectures and Talks

We give talks to interested parties at reasonable rates. Dependant on the time of year, we can bring an observation hive to assist in explaining about how a hive works. Please contact us for details.
